Sent postward at odds of 7-2, the dark bay tracked the pace from the outside behind a swift quarter-mile in :21.98 and was left with Big Squeeze (Lemon Drop Kid) to catch in midstretch. Kicking it into gear in midstretch, he reeled in that rival in the final yards and got up to score by a head. The final time for six furlongs was 1:10.30. The winner's third dam is 2007 Broodmare of the Year Better Than Honour (Deputy Minister), also the dam of GI Belmont S. winning champion Rags to Riches (A.P.
