Agent Kerri Radcliffe snapped up hip 1041, a daughter of the late Scat Daddy, for $1 million at Keeneland September Thursday, equaling the day's top price after a Tapit filly out of GISW Believe You Can hit that seven-figure benchmark just three hips earlier. Consigned by Gainesway, Agent VII, the bay was bred by Gainesway Thoroughbreds Ltd., Brian Graves and Michael Hernon. She is out of Ghostzapper mare Beloveda, who was second in the GIII Rampart S. and is a half-sister to Grade III winner Golden Mystery (Awesome Again). Radcliffe was also active earlier in the day, purchasing a colt (hip 884) by Verrazano for $650,000.
