Katherine Ball's Limousine Liberal (Successful Appeal), runner-up to Runhappy (Super Saver) in the GI King's Bishop S. at Saratoga Aug. 29, worked five furlongs in :59.60 at Keeneland Friday.
The sophomore heads to the GI Breeders' Cup Sprint following a narrow second-place finish as the 4-5 chalk in the GIII Gallant Bob S. at Parx Sept. 19.
“He came home well and I think we will go in the Sprint if we can get in,” trainer Ben Colebrook revealed. “He will probably work again next Saturday.” Colebrook added, “I'd rather not run against Runhappy, but we've been about as close to him as anybody else.”
