Leslie's Lady, dam of four-time champion Beholder (Henny Hughes) and prominent sire Into Mischief (Harlan's Holiday), was named the 2016 Broodmare of the Year at the Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders (KTOB)'s annual Kentucky-Bred Champions Award Luncheon held at Keeneland Thursday. Beholder, who captured the GI Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff in November to wrap up a spectacular career, was also honored as champion Older Dirt Female. GI Breeders' Cup Classic and GI Travers S. hero Arrogate (Unbridled's Song)–who has since become North America's all-time richest Thoroughbred–was honored as Horse of the Year and champion sophomore male.

Hardboot Breeders' Award: Brereton C. Jones
Charles W. Engelhard Award: Jay Privman
William T. Young Humanitarian Award: Godolphin Flying Start and Kentucky Equine Management Internship
