Two interesting wildcards have been added to the horse-in-training section of this week's Guineas Breeze Up & HIT Sale at Newmarket. The Richard Fahey-trained pair of 2-year-olds Cullingworth (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}) and Springwood (Ire) (Zebedee {GB}) have been added to the catalogue as lot 83 and lot 84 on Friday. Cullingworth, a 36,000gns yearling, broke his maiden on his second start when winning at Redcar on Apr. 11. Stablemate Springwood also showed the benefit of his debut when scoring a week later on his second start at Pontefract Apr. 18. Fahey's assistant trainer Robin O'Ryan descibed him on that occasion as a 'tough, relaxed, good-moving horse.' The pair join lot 244A the colt by Power (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}) who was added to the breeze up section of the sale and will be consigned by Willie Browne's Mocklershill. The breeze up is scheduled to commence at 9am Thursday morning at the Rowley Mile Racecourse with selling beginning Friday morning at 10am in Tattersalls.
