Diadura took her record to a perfect two-for-two in this 'TDN Rising Star' performance. The dark bay overcame a troubled trip to close like a good thing and graduate at first asking going five furlongs here Aug. 5 and was hammered down to 3-2 favoritism in this black-type bow. Outsprinted in eighth through a sharp half mile in :44.95, she began to make her move while racing two wide on the far turn. Diadura was bumped hard while fighting her way through the narrowest of openings at the top of the stretch and ran to daylight from there to win geared down late in a very promising performance.
