Drawing alongside new leader American Lincoln (Street Sense) in mid-stretch, the 3-5 chalk forged clear late to win by four lengths.
The winner is the first foal out of the unraced Logalina Pompina, a half-sister to GSW and half-million dollar earner Mellow Fellow (Belek). She has since produced the juvenile colt Midnight Reverie (Midnight Lute) and a yearling colt by Lea. The 7-year-old mare was bred back to Will Take Charge.
