Coolmore Ireland will stand a new trio of MG1SWs for the 2018 season led by MG1SW sprinter Caravaggio (Scat Daddy–Mekko Hokte, by Holy Bull), who landed wins in the G1 Keeneland Phoenix S. at The Curragh and Royal Ascot's G1 Commonwealth Cup. All told, the son of Scat Daddy also scored in the G2 Derrinstown Stud Flying Five S., the G2 Coventry S. G3 Lacken S. and was third in the G1 QIPCO British Champions Sprint S., winning six of his nine starts for earnings of $983,107. Caravaggio, a half-brother to GII Gallant Bloom H. heroine My Jen (Fusaichi Pegasus) and out of the SW Mekko Hokte, will stand for €35,000.
Dual Guineas hero Churchill (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}–Meow {Ire}, by Storm Cat) will retire to Coolmore Ireland for 2018, but still has at least an engagement at the Breeders' Cup. The highweighted English/Irish juvenile colt of 2016 on the back of wins in the G1 Goffs Vincent O'Brien National S. and G1 Dubai Dewhurst S., Churchill rattled off victories in Newmarket's G1 QIPCO 2000 Guineas and the G1 Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas at The Curragh during his sophomore season. The Aidan O'Brien trainee also put his stamp on the G2 Futurity S. and G3 Tyros S. during a 12-start career, saluting the judge seven times, with earnings of $1,787,877 to date. A full-brother to this year's G1 Juddmonte Cheveley Park S. heroine Clemmie (Ire), his fee is yet to be revealed, as he has been pre-entered to contest the GI Breeders' Cup Classic at Del Mar.
Globetrotting veteran Highland Reel (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}–Hveger (Aus), by Danehill), will also retire to Coolmore Ireland for 2018 season for an undisclosed fee. The Irish highweight at 11-14 furlongs in 2016, the GI Breeders' Cup Turf victor is one of the most well-traveled runners for Aidan O'Brien and Coolmore, compiling an impressive resume with group scores over all fours seasons of racing and Group 1 wins during the past three campaigns. The six-time Group 1 winner sports top-level wins in America, England and Hong Kong and was runner-up in the 2016 G1 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Tromphe. Highland Reel also counts a third-place finish to the mighty Winx (Aus) (Street {Ire}) in her first of three G1 Cox Plate victories in 2015. An earner of over $8.8 million, the full-brother to MGSW & MG1SP Idaho (Ire) and half to Australian MG1SP Valdemoro (Aus) (Encosta de Lago {Aus}) has nine wins from 25 starts and is eyeing a repeat in the Breeders' Cup Turf.

Supersire Galileo (Ire) (Sadler's Wells) who has sired the earners of over $23 million this year and is well on his way to his ninth champion sire's title, will stand for a private fee, while reverse shuttler Fastnet Rock (Aus) (Danehill) will command €70,000. G1 Epsom Derby hero Australia (GB) (Galileo {Ire}), who will have his first 2-year-olds in 2018, is listed at €35,000, will fellow Derby scorer Camelot (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}), who is off to a bright start with his first juveniles, is standing for €30,000.
Other stallions of note on the 23-strong Coolmore Ireland roster include dual Guineas hero Gleneagles (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), whose first foals arrived in 2017, at €40,000 and G1 Prix Morny hero No Nay Never (Scat Daddy) and G1 French 2000 Guineas victor The Gurkha (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), with that duo standing for €25,000 apiece.
