Last year's G1 Keeneland Phoenix S. and G2 Coventry S. winner Caravaggio (Scat Daddy) remains on course for the May 14 G1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains after being removed from Saturday's G1 Qipco 2000 Guineas. The unbeaten Caravaggio has not been seen since his Phoenix win in August and trainer Aidan O'Brien said, “We always had our eye on the French race with him and his big works are going to be this weekend. He's going to do plenty this week and then we'll see how we are going. We know that he can go sprinting anytime. He's not short of pace.”
