Zayat Secures Arch Colt for $350,000 at F-T

David Ingordo, acting on behalf of Ahmed Zayat's Zayat Stables, saw off a pair of challengers to buy the highest-priced horse Wednesday at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearlings Sale, a colt by Arch who went for $350,000. Consigned by Monticule Farm as hip 1186, the Apr. 10-foaled dark bay is the second foal from the 9-year-old High Priestess (Mt. Livermore), a half-sister to this year's Borderland Derby winner Isn't He Clever (Smarty Jones). GSW Dijeerr (Danzig), SW Sharp Writer (Capote) and the $9.2 million yearling Plavius (Danzig).
