Experts on the young stallion James Garfield (Ire) (Exceed And Excel {Aus}) can put their knowledge to the test from Saturday, April 25 via on online competition launched by Rathbarry Stud.
Six questions will be posed pertaining to the 5-year-old, with the winner receiving a nomination to the G2 Mill Reef S. and G3 Greenham S. winner. James Garfield retired to Rathbarry last season and now has his first foals on the ground.
“To provide a bit of fun and support for breeders in this uncertain time we have devised a fun competition with a free James Garfield nomination as the winning prize,” said Rathbarry Stud's Paul Cashman.
“Judging by the foals we have here on the farm and the feedback from breeders, James Garfield is siring classy individuals with great presence and conformation. I am hoping they will inherit some of the speed and ability of their sire.”
The winner of the competition can use the free nomination in either 2020 or 2021. The closing date for entries is midnight on Saturday, May 2, and the winner will be announced on May 4. To enter, visit the Rathbarry Stud website.
