Gary and Mary West, who campaign last year’s GI FrontRunner S. hero Power Broker (Pulpit) and GI La Brea S. heroine Book Review (Giant’s Causeway), secured the top-priced horse at Wednesday’s third session of the Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale in Lexington. Their farm manager and bloodstock advisor Ben Glass went to $350,000 to acquire a Medaglia d’Oro short yearling colt out of GSW Bohemian Lady (Carson City), a half-sister to Any Given Saturday (Distorted Humor). Three Chimneys consigned the colt for breeder Padua Stables as hip 1065.
