Mandy Pope is a breeder, an owner, an equestrian. She's also a collector, but not of fine art or vintage wines, but of great broodmares. Since 2011, she has purchased some of the greatest mares ever to race at the fall breeding stock sales at Fasig Tipton and Keeneland. And she was at it again this year, purchasing champion Songbird for $9.5 million at Fasig Tipton.
