Jockey Danny Tudhope is set to be out of action for around five weeks as a result of the broken collarbone he suffered at Newcastle on Thursday.
The leading rider was unseated two furlongs out from Belle De Lawers (GB) (Black Sam Bellamy {Ire}), who suffered a fatal injury in a staying handicap on the all-weather Flat card.
Tudhope's agent Laura Way said: “The good news is the doctors are happy to let it heal. He's going to have another X-ray in two weeks, but they don't feel the need to plate it or anything like that. Three weeks today he's going on holiday for two weeks, so hopefully after that he'll be ready to come back.”
