Tigerish Gives Tiz the Law A Second Winner at Horseshoe Indianapolis

Tigerish | Coady

8th-Horseshoe Indianapolis, $32,000, Msw, 6-24, 2yo, f, 7 1/2fT, 1:32.71, fm, 2 1/4 lengths.
TIGERISH (f, 2, Tiz the Law–Lerici, by Woodman) kicked home nicely once produced by Declan Cannon to become the second winner for her first-crop sire (by Constitution). Away alertly from gate five, the $25,000 KEESEP yearling settled between horses in the second flight through the opening five furlongs. Finding plenty when popped the question turning for home, Tigerish exchanged a sound bump with an outside rival in upper stretch and showed a nice turn of foot thereafter to score convincingly. That Tigerish might excel on the grass is no real surprise, as she is kin to three full stakes winners on the surface: Avenge (War Front), MGISW, $868,341; Liguria (War Front), GSW, $242,200; and Lira (Giant's Causeway), MSW & GSP, $163,669, in turn the dam of turf SW Lia Marina (Uncle Mo). Tigerish is also related to Pistoletto (War Front), GSP-Eng, SP-Ire, $151,566. The most recent produce from Lerici is a yearling colt by Uncle Mo and she most recently visited Practical Joke. Sales history: $25,000 Ylg '23 KEESEP. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $19,200. Click for the Equibase.com chart.
