Thoroughbred Tales, a Social Media-centered initiative geared to the promotion of racing to a broader audience, has been launched. With the objective of showcasing the dedication of horsemen and women in all aspects of the industry, Thoroughbred Tales is headed by television presenter Sally Ann Grassick, in addition to trainer Sarah Lynam, journalists Aisling Crowe, Lizzy Sainty and Thom Malone and bloodstock agent Cathy Grassick, among many others.
“The future of our industry is something we all felt very passionate about,” said Sally Ann Grassick. “There has been a lot in the media recently about showing racing off in a better light to the public..After speaking with many industry professionals, we felt that now was the time to take things into our own hands through the medium of social media.”
Thoroughbred Tales will announce their first guest host in the weeks to come.
