An Instilled Regard for Speed and Distance

Three months after it was announced that Larry Best's OXO Equine would venture into the stallion business with 'TDN Rising Star' Instagrand (Into Mischief) at Taylor Made Stallions, a second addition was made to the farm's 2021 roster in Best's leading earner Instilled Regard (Arch). The 6-year-old will stand his first year at stud for a fee of $12,500 and Taylor Made's Frank Taylor said that demand has been high since his retirement was announced in December. This year, when Mr. Monomoy (Palace Malice) begins his new career at stud, he will join Bustin Stones (City Zip) at Waldorf Farm. Mr. Monomoy will stand as the property of Climax Stallions, LLC, Michael Dubb and Madaket Stables. His initial stud fee has been announced as $5,000. Equiano at the Irish National Stud

Equiano (Fr) (Acclamation {GB}), who is new to the Irish National Stud, will have breeding right options available for breeders, the County Kildare stud announced. Already the sire of Group 1 winners Equilateral (GB) and Belvoir Bay (GB), the 15-year-old is the sire of 29 stakes horses and will stand for €3,000 in 2021.
