Uncle Mo, a $160,000 KEENOV weanling and $220,000 KEESEP yearling, had been training smartly and, bolstered by trainer Todd Pletcher's impressive array of juvenile winners at this meet, was bet down to 4-5. The bay colt came away running and quickly assumed command. He had a 1 1/2-length advantage at the quarter pole and readily opened up under a hand ride from jockey John Velazquez to streak under the wire 14 1/4 lengths in front. The 51-1 Admiral Perry (First Samurai) was a clear second, with 25-1 Sinorice (Hold That Tiger) rounding out the $1,292 triactor. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $36,000.
