Winchell homebred Reride (Candy Ride {Arg}) was backed down to 11-10 off a fairly tame set of drills for this first go, and performed to expectations with a facile tally worth of the ‘TDN Rising Star’ distinction. In an early tussle outside of chief market rival Nothings Changed (Street Boss) after an alert break, the bay left that foe in his wake in midstretch without seriously being asked and required only a hands-and-heels ride to draw off by 6 1/4 lengths. Third timer Just Like Richie (Divine Park) got up to complete the exacta, while Nothings Changed faded to fourth. Reride was produced by a multiple stakes-winning full-sister to MGSW/GISP Tapiture (Tapit) and SW/GSP Retap. He has a yearling half-brother by Bodemeister and a foal half-sister by Munnings.
