Mufajaah--a $375,000 KEESEP yearling graduate--rallied to finish an encouraging third after blowing the break in her six-furlong Oaklawn debut Feb. 13. She broke through with a sharp 4 1/2-length maiden win at that distance at second asking Feb. 28 and was heavily favored at 3-5 while making her two-turn debut here. Bumped at the start, the chestnut raced three-wide around the first turn and was settled in sixth through fractions of :23.66 and :48.39. Jockey Joe Johnson hit the gas with a visually impressive four-wide sweep on the far turn and his charge rebroke with a couple of taps of the whip in the stretch to score by a very promising 2 1/2 lengths. Streethomealabama (Street Sense) was second. Mufajaah, racing without Lasix, hails from the extended family of Meadow Flight (Meadowlake). Lifetime Record: 3-2-0-1, $78,300.
