Interrupted, a half-sister to "TDN Rising Star" Alternation (Distorted Humor), MGSW, $1,064,727, followed in her big brother's footsteps with a second straight visually impressive score here. The Pin Oak homebred turned in an impressive, wide rally to graduate over course-and-distance Sept. 27. Backed at 2-1 to stay perfect here, Interrupted raced in eighth through a half mile in :51.20, and had plenty left to do as they straightened for home. With Matthew Rispoli remaining cool in the irons, she came alive in the lane while riding the rails, and exploded in deep stretch to win by a geared down 1 3/4 lengths. Pure Lady Like (Pure Precision) was second. The classy Alternate has also produced a Candy Ride (Arg) filly in 2012, and a Distorted Humor filly earlier this spring. Lifetime Record: 2-2-0-0, $46,740.
