Rank early anchored in last by Christophe-Patrice Lemaire, the 13-5 second favorite was delivered wide in the stretch and, after gaining the lead passing the furlong pole, maintained her momentum to subdue Tharsis (Ire) (Gold Away {Ire}) and score by a half length. Thawaany (Ire) (Tamayuz {GB}) was 3/4 of a length away in third. "She’s one of the good fillies in the yard and has the breeding and a turn of foot," trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre commented. "I don’t usually run them first time in a ‘B’ race against experienced horses unless I am sure of their quality and this one has plenty."
