Sent off at 3-5 for this unveiling, Auberge shot out of the gate to challenge Parkour (Carpe Dieme) through a swift quarter in :22.21. Ready to dispense with that rival exiting the backstretch, she extended her advantage through the hometurn, continued to draw away while under a hand ride and crossed the wire 7 3/4 lengths over Parkour. Cosmic Cowgirl (Malibu Moon) was 3/4 of a length back in third. This is the sixth winner for Auberge's freshman sire (by City Zip).
