Tattersalls Launches Internet Bidding For Craven Sale

Emma Berry

Tattersalls will kick off live internet bidding for the upcoming Craven and Ascot Breeze Up Sale in Newmarket on June 25. Buyers are required to register (click here) at least 48 hours prior to the start of the sale and will receive account verification from Tattersalls before the sale begins. Telephone bidding will also be available.

“We first trialled live internet bidding back in 2008, but there is no doubt that the challenges posed by the global pandemic have made the technology an essential additional service for potential buyers who are unable to attend our sales,” said Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony. “Starting with the Craven and Ascot Breeze Up, live internet bidding will now be a regular feature of sales at Tattersalls and we are confident that it will be welcomed by buyers throughout the world.”
