Tattersalls Online October Sale Catalogue Available

The catalogue for the Tattersalls Online October Sale can now be accessed at www.tattersallsonline.com for the two-day auction to be held Oct. 20-21. A total of 46 horses are up for bidding, including 34 fillies and mares and an assortment of horses in and out of training.

Highlights of the broodmares catalogued include a trio consigned by Irish Emerald Stud, led by black-type producing mare Althania, dam of Listed August S.-placed Maskud. A daughter of the highly sought after broodmare sire Street Cry (Ire), Althania out of the listed winner and Group 2-placed Gabriellina Giof (GB). She is joined by Catchline, the dam of three winners and a half-sister to Group 1 winners Ancient World and Jilbab, and Hope Lake, whose yearling filly sold for 110,000 guineas at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale, and who is offered in foal to proven multiple Group 1 producing sire Acclamation (GB).

Certain to attract the attention of purchasers is Valerie's Memory, a half-sister to Group 2 winning mare Plainchant who sold for 490,000 guineas at the 2021 Tattersalls December Mares Sale to Oceanic Bloodstock for White Birch Farm. They are out of Nadinska, a half-sister to Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed Laugh Out Loud, herself the dam of Group 2 winner Platinum Warrior.

The catalogue has also attracted consignments from Sheraton Bloodstock and Kilbride Farm as well as entries from leading British and Irish trainers including William Haggas, Jessica Harrington, Andrew Balding, Ed Dunlop, and Eve Johnson Houghton.

Prospective purchasers are required to register to logon and join the sale ahead of the commencement of bidding from 12 noon, Thursday 20th October. Bidding is scheduled to close from 12 noon on Friday 21st October.
