With the addition of both blinkers and Lasix Saturday, the half-brother to Cyberknife (Gun Runner), MGISW, $2,087,520 had the betting public's favor, going off at 8-5 over the same distance as his debut. Racing again off the pace in seventh, Tapit Shoes settled outside of horses up the back straightaway and began to pick rivals off into the turn. Put to a drive while four wide past the quarter pole, he drove clear despite racing greenly a furlong from home, hitting the wire much the best while wrapped up the final sixteenth to be 7 1/2 lengths ahead of More Than Five (More Than Ready).
