Group 3 winner Lavello (Ire) (Zarak {Fr}--Laura {Ger}, by Montjeu {Ire}) will retire to Haras du Lion in 2023, according to published reports. Racing for breeder Gestut Hof Ittlingen, the bay won the G3 Bavarian Classic in May and is pointing to the G1 Grosser Preis von Bayern for trainer Markus Klug.
