Arrigo Becomes First Stallion for Chloe Roddick Racing

G2 Oppenheim-Union-Rennen winner Arrigo (Ger) has relocated from Yorton Farm Stud to Bullbrook Farm near Somerton for the 2024 breeding season, it was announced on Friday. A half-brother to German champion sire Adlerflug (Ger), Arrigo has been leased from Yorton Stud and James and Jean Potter by Chloe Roddick and her husband Philip Maloney. Quality NH Broodmares Added to ThoroughBid October

Black-type broodmares from Yorton Farm Stud and James and Jean Potter have been added to ThoroughBid's October Sale catalogue. A total of 41 lots, including horses-in-training and young stock, are set to sell on the one-day auction, which will take place on Oct. 20. Arrigo Joins Yorton Farm Stud

Arrigo, a Shirocco (Ger) half-brother to Germany's champion sire Adlerflug (Ger), has joined the roster of National Hunt stallions at Yorton Farm Stud in Wales. Winner of the G2 Oppenheim-Union-Rennen and runner-up to Campanologist in the G1 Gran Premio Jockey Club Italiano, Arrigo, who is now 13, was bred by Gestut Schlenderhan. He has spent the last two seasons in France at Haras du Mazet and initially stood at Gestut Graditz in Germany after being retired from racing at the age of seven.
