Clark Named Thoroughbred Owner Conference Keynote Speaker

Stacie Clark, operations consultant for the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA), will be the keynote speaker for OwnerView's in-person Thoroughbred Owner Conferenceat Saratoga Race Course July 25-26, 2022. Clark has been with the TAA since its inception in 2012 and assumed the role of operations consultant in 2014. Woodbine's Senior Vice President of Standardbred and Thoroughbred Racing Jessica Buckley resigned from her position to pursue other opportunities, according to a press release circulated on Twitter Friday. Major Post Time Changes at Woodbine

Woodbine Entertainment has received approval from the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) for significant post time changes for Thursday and Friday cards at Woodbine Racetrack. First post for live racing on Thursdays will move from 1:10 p.m. to 5:05 p.m., while Fridays will change from 4:50 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. The changes will go in effect next Thursday, June 9. Ladies of the Lawn Series Returns at Woodbine

The Ladies of the Lawn series, which will now feature a $250,000 bonus, will return to Woodbine in 2022. Canadian Trainer Suspended 20 Years for Drug Violations

Trainer Robert Gerl has been suspended 20 years and fined $100,000 after two horses under his care tested positive for ostarine, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) announced Tuesday.
