The Race Track Chaplaincy of America (RTCA), which ministers to the needs of those in the racing industry, honored WinStar Farm's Elliott Walden and outrider Bo Butler with the 22nd annual White Horse and Community Service Awards during the RTCA's "Night of Faith, Hope & Love" held during Breeders' Cup week. The Race Track Chaplaincy of America (RTCA) is accepting nominations for its 22nd Annual White Horse Award, the organization said in a release. Dan Fick, David Pope Honored by RTCA

The Race Track Chaplaincy of America has honored Dan Fick with its RTCA Community Service Award and David Pope with its RTCA White Horse Award. Delcid Wins White Horse Award

RTCA honored Nery Delcid with their White Horse Award at a ceremony Tuesday evening for bravely preventing a fire from spreading at Churchill Downs. The fire in one of the stalls was set by someone in the barn during the night and Delcid acted quickly by calling 911, dousing the flames and calling security. He alerted the workers who were sleeping in the barn and together they helped control the fire. Thanks to his quick actions, there was no significant damage, and no human or horse was injured. The Race Track Chaplaincy of America is now accepting nominations for the 2022 RTCA White Horse Award which will be presented to an individual or individuals of any age who performed a heroic act on behalf of human or horse within the past 12 months. Allen Named RTCA White Horse Award Winner

Marshall Allen has been named the winner of this year's Race Track Chaplaincy of America White Horse Award. Allen, an assistant trainer at Emerald Downs, saved the life of long-time horse owner Jim Foulkes, who had collapsed in the track's barn area last May.
