Lucky Girl Tops Inaugural Inglis Digital USA July Sale

The debut auction from the Inglis Digital USA platform was led by the $235,000 sale of racemare MSW Lucky Girl (Ire) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}), the auction house said in a release late Wednesday. Previously operated under the Wanamaker's banner before partnering with the Australian-based William Inglis & Son Ltd., and relaunching earlier this year, Wednesday's returns saw a gross just above $450,000, with an average sale price over $21,000. Catalogue Out For Wanamaker's July Sale

In addition to broodmares and broodmare prospects, Wanamaker's newly-released July Catalogue is comprised of racing prospects, yearlings and foals selling alongside their mothers, the online auction house said in a press release Wednesday. Bidding will open Thursday, June 27 at 8:00 a.m. ET, with the first listing set to close at 5:00 p.m. Subsequent listings will close in three-minute increments. Wanamaker's July Catalogue Now Live

After a successful first online auction, Wanamaker's has released its second catalogue, headed by the entry of Fiya (Friesan Fire), a 3-year-old gelding who is two-for-two on the year and posted a 98 Beyer Speed Figure and a 9 on the Ragozin Sheets in winning a Laurel allowance July 17. Fiya's 98 Beyer is the second fastest by a 3-year-old on the turf this year.
