Keeneland Organizes Lexington to Kentucky Downs Charters

With both the Keeneland September Yearling Sale and the boutique Kentucky Downs race meet going on at the same time and 170 miles apart, Keeneland has arranged charter flights from Lexington to the Franklin, Kentucky racetrack to accommodate owners, trainers and others who are working the yearling sale, but also have horses running at Kentucky Downs. Agreement Could Bring DraftKings Mobile Sports Betting to Kentucky

The digital sports entertainment and gaming company DraftKings will have access to operate mobile sports betting in Kentucky--pending licensure and regulatory approvals--under an agreement with ECL Corbin, LLC announced Tuesday. The Mint Event Center Opened At Kentucky Downs

The Mint Event Center was officially launched Wednesday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local, regional and state civic leaders and officials, including business representatives from Kentucky and Tennessee, The Mint Gaming and Kentucky Downs said in a release. Ky Downs Set to Open The Mint Gaming Hall in September

Kentucky Downs will open its Mint Gaming Hall, a new 30,000 square-foot historical horse racing (HHR) in early September, and will coincide with the track's live six-day racing meet. The hall, which will add more than 600 historical horse racing terminals, will also include a new multi-media Center Bar, entertainment stage and a new high-limit betting area.
