Six 2-year-olds have been supplemented to the catalogue for the Texas 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale, which is scheduled for Wednesday, Apr. 3, the Texas Thoroughbred Association (TTA) announced Wednesday. Catalogued as hips 125-130, the juveniles are by Aurelius Maximus, Bradester, Competitive Edge, Complexity, Frosted, and Vekoma. A catalogue featuring 186 horses has been released for the 2023 Texas 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale, the highest number cataloged for a 2-year-old sale in Texas Thoroughbred Association (TTA) sales history. Wednesday's Texas Thoroughbred Association (TTA) 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale closed with an uptick in average and median, as well as gross. A total of 88 horses sold for $3,050,700 with an average of $34,667, up from an average of $32,671 in 2021. The median also rose to $28,000, compared to $20,000 in 2021.
