The first mares bred to Horse of the Year Knicks Go (Paynter) and MGSW Tacitus (Tapit) have been confirmed in foal, Taylor Made announced today. Suchada, a daughter of Frosted, has been scanned in foal to Knicks Go, and stakes winner Lady Joan, a daughter of Courageous Cat, has been confirmed in foal to Tacitus.

Sierra Farm was founded by Ed and Sharon Hudon in 2006. Following the passing of her husband in 2018, Sharon took over the operation and the farm was recently sold to Matt Dorman's Determined Stud in December of 2021. The Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale gets underway at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the first of four sessions. The sale was originally scheduled to kick off Monday, but was delayed due to a winter snow storm in Lexington, which also pushed back the ship in date.
