Applications Open For NYRA's 2023 Elizabeth Bracken Memorial Scholarship

Students enrolled in the University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program (RTIP) can now apply for the 2023 Elizabeth Bracken Memorial Scholarship, which aims to support students aspiring to build careers in Thoroughbred racing, NYRA announced. NYRA Launches Elizabeth Bracken Memorial Scholarship

The New York Racing Association launched the Elizabeth Bracken Memorial Scholarship to support and encourage students enrolled in the University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program (RTIP) to secure careers in the Thoroughbred industry. Arizona Downs Names Weiss General Manager

Michael Weiss, a longtime racing industry professional with deep ties to Arizona horse racing, has been named the new General Manager at Arizona Downs. Jockey Club Announces 2020-2021 Academic Scholarship Recipients

Grace Clark has been selected to receive The Jockey Club Scholarship and Eric DeCoster has been selected to receive The Jockey Club Jack Goodman Scholarship, The Jockey Club announced Tuesday. The Jockey Club Scholarship provides $15,000 ($7,500 per semester) to a student who is pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher at any university and has demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the Thoroughbred industry.
