Racing Welfare Three Peaks Challenge Announced

The Racing Welfare Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, an all-new mass participation fundraising event for 2023, was announced by the charity on Friday. Set for Saturday, July 8, the Large Outdoors-led contest is a 12-hour challenge that is 25 miles long and includes over 1,500 metres of ascent of Yorkshire peaks Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent, and Whernside. Starting and finishing in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, the challenge is  £35 per person with sponsorships going for a minimum of £300. Tweenhills Takeaway Vans at Tattersalls Raise £8,500 For Racing Welfare

Tweenhills and Qatar Racing once again hosted the Tweenhills Angus Burger and Tweenhills Coffee vans at the Tattersalls December Foal and Mare Sales to raise money for Racing Welfare. Racing Welfare and the Racehorse Owners Association will provide a pair of black-tie awards events-The Northern Racing Awards and Epsom Owners' and Trainers Awards-celebrating the industry. UK Racing Partners With HEROS To Expand Safety Net

HEROS has become the new primary partner for British horseracing's official welfare charity, Retraining of Racehorses (RoR). The aftercare and retraining specialist centre in Oxfordshire will provide specialist care and support for horses at their first step out of racing beginning in August. Racing Community Takes on 24-Hr Challenge to Benefit Racing Welfare

A total of 81 cyclists took part in a 24-hour challenge--embarking on 30km loops that kicked off at Cheltenham racecourse July 16--to benefit Racing Welfare, which supports the racing community. Originally tabbed with a £60,000, the total amount raised by the event is set to top £100,000.
