The Race Track Chaplaincy of America (RTCA) will host its 9th Annual Golf Scramble Tuesday, Apr. 16 at University Club of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky with all proceeds going to support the network of chaplaincies, the non-profit said in a Friday release. Dan Fick, David Pope Honored by RTCA

The Race Track Chaplaincy of America has honored Dan Fick with its RTCA Community Service Award and David Pope with its RTCA White Horse Award. Nominations are now being accepted for the Race Track Chaplaincy of America's 21st annual White Horse Award. The White Horse Award is given annually to individuals who have done something heroic on behalf of human or horse in the past 12 months. The Race Track Chaplaincy of America (RTCA) has named this year's White Horse Award winners, which honor heroism on behalf of human or horse. Honored this year are Victoria Don Dorrian, winner of the White Horse Award, and Erin Crady, winner of the Community Service Award. Dorrian earned her moment of heroism in September, 2019, when a loose horse at Prairie Meadows escaped from the track and ended up on interstate 80, running toward oncoming traffic. Nominations Open for White Horse Awards

Nominations for the Race Track Chaplaincy of America's White Horse Awards are now open. The White Horse Award is for individuals who have done something heroic on behalf of a human or horse. Nominations are also open for the Community Service Award, which is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the welfare of racetrack chaplaincy ministries. Nominations are due Sept. 14 and the award ceremony will be held virtually.
