The Indiana Thoroughbred Alliance will present an educational seminar July 16 to inform horse owners on how to be better prepared for barn fires. The seminar will be hosted in partnership with Horseshoe Indianapolis in the Family Pavilion of the grandstand, starting with a morning networking opportunity at 10 a.m. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), 326 deadly barn fires occurred during the period 2013-2017.
