Seventeen Hall of Fame jockeys--a list that includes former Monmouth Park leading riders Don Brumfield, Julie Krone and Craig Perret--will be on hand when the seventh annual Jockeys and Jeans Fundraiser holds its annual event at Monmouth Park on Sept. 11. All of the proceeds from the event go directly to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund. In addition to honoring seven riders who suffered catastrophic or career-ending injuries, this year's fundraiser will honor firemen and police officers on the 20th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center towers....

The first 'Polo for the PDJF' is set for this Friday, Apr. 23, at the Commonwealth Polo Coub, with all proceeds benefitting the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.' Beginning with opening day of Santa Anita's 16-day Autumn Meeting Friday, Sept. 25 and running through the final day Oct. 25, fans can have their personalized cut out images appear in Santa Anita's Runhappy Winner's Circle for a donation of $200, with 100% of proceeds going to support the California Retirement Management Account (CARMA) and the Permanently Disable Jockeys Fund (PDJF). Keeneland and Maker's Mark have announced the 2020 Maker's Mark commemorative bottle, with all proceeds to benefit the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF), an independent charitable organization that provides financial assistance to jockeys who have sustained debilitating on-track injuries. Approximately $70,000 was raised by the Jockeys and Jeans Stallion Season Sale for the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF), double its 2019 revenues, the organization announced Monday. Over 20 stallion seasons were sold, including a season to Claiborne Farm's Runhappy (Super Saver), which topped proceedings at $25,000. The fifth annual Jockeys and Jeans Stallion Season sale has attracted a host of new and popular stallions, led by Eclipse Award-winning Champion Sprinter Runhappy.
