Tickets are now on sale for the Apr. 7 Arena Racing Company Middleham Open Day, a charity event to raise money for Racing Welfare. Trainers Karl Burke, Charlie Johnston, James Horton, Ben Haslam, Foulrice Park Racing, Jedd O'Keeffe, Micky Hammond, and Neil Mechie are all committed to opening their doors to the public. ARC Malton Open Day, the opening act for National Racehorse Week, will be celebrated on Sunday, Sept. 11. Organised by Racing Welfare, it honours both racehorses and the staff responsible for their care. This year, 14 local racehorse trainers will open their doors to the public and give behind-the-scenes access to some of the most prominent and history racing yards in North Yorkshire.
