At the close of trade, a pair of €55,000 geldings, by Shantou and Noroit (Ger), respectively, topped the Tattersalls Ireland July Store Sale on Wednesday. Railstown Stud consigned the son of Shantou out of The Princetonian (Ire) (Oscar {Ire}) (lot 77) and he was purchased by Hamish Macauley Bloodstock/Ballycrystal. His dam is a full-sister to Cheltenham listed winner Rock On Ruby (Ire) (Oscar {Ire}). Already named Kow Boy Sivola (Fr), (lot 236), the Noroit (Ger) gelding was offered by Liss House.
