Adare Manor (Uncle Mo) (hip 214) joined a string of high-class mares heading to Japan after selling for $2.8 million to Katsumi Yoshida Monday at Fasig-Tipton. The 5-year-old mare, consigned by Hill 'n' Dale at Xalapa, won this year's GI Apple Blossom Handicap and the last two renewals of the GI Clement L. A filly by Tiz the Law (hip 365) brought a final bid of $1.9 million from bloodstock agent Donato Lanni acting on behalf of Michael Lund Petersen.
