Dylan Davis, Chad Brown, Klaravich Clinch Titles at Belmont Big A Meet

Dylan Davis and Chad Brown have claimed individual meet titles for jockey and trainer, respectively, for the 2024 Belmont Big A fall meet while Klaravich Stables continued their domination of the owners' ranks, NYRA announced via release Sunday evening. Leading all jockeys with 44 wins, it is Davis's third individual title on the NYRA circuit with a winter meet title at Aqueduct earlier this year and in 2022 under his belt. Riders Deadheat for Laurel Title, Russell Takes Training Honors

Laurel Park's fall meet ended with a tie for leading rider between journeyman Angel Cruz and 19-year-old apprentice Jeiron Barbosa. In addition, trainer Brittany Russell topped the trainer standings for a third time this year. It was the first riding title for Cruz, who deadheated with Barbosa with 44 wins apiece. Aqueduct Fall Meet Concludes with Ortiz, Jr., Pletcher, Klaravich Titles

Jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr., Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher, and owner Seth Klarman's Klaravich Stables wrapped up Aqueduct's 15-day fall meet with the titles in their respective divisions Sunday.
