Keeneland November Kicks Off Wednesday

The sales action moves across town Wednesday with bidding on the first session of Keeneland November starting at 1 p.m. The 10-day auction, which runs through Nov. 19, opens with a single-session Book 1 comprised of 229 mares and weanlings, five of which were late supplements. Median Rises at February National Hunt Sale

At the close of trade on Tuesday, the Tattersalls Ireland February National Hunt Sale saw a record median of €9,250, an increase of 23% on last year's mark. Twelve Horses Stolen From Al Shaab Stud in Libya

A dozen horses, both stallions and in-foal mares, were stolen from Libya's Al Shaab Stud on Saturday, the stud's General Manager Dr. Amad Eshab announced via Twitter on Sunday.
