Bashful (Orb), owned by Carrie and Craig Brogden's Machmer Hall, was reported in foal to the 6-year-old stallion who is standing his first season at Mill Ridge for a fee of $10,000, live foal. A colt by Medaglia d'Oro (hip 401) became the second seven-figure juvenile of the auction when selling for $1.75 million Wednesday at the OBS Spring Sale. A half-brother to champion Drefong (Gio Ponti), the dark bay was purchased by Red Baron's Barn and Rancho Temescal LLC. He was consigned by de Meric Sales, which purchased him for $325,000 at last year's Keeneland September sale, and was bred by Machmer Hall and Carrie and Craig Brogden.

'TDN Rising Star' Gift Box (Twirling Candy--Special Me, by Unbridled's Song) was represented by his first foal when the 12-year-old Chelsea Road (Speightstown) delivered a colt at St. Simon Place Wednesday, Jan. 19. Champion and three-time Grade I victor Game Winner (Candy Ride {Arg}--Indyan Giving, by A.P. Indy)'s first foal arrived Sunday at Machmer Hall.
