Kentucky Derby Museum Launches Second Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Raffle

Nathan Perdue continues his mission to prolong his 3-year-old son Wyatt Perdue's life with the help of his personal collection of rare bourbons and the Kentucky Derby Museum. This year, the raffle has been expanded to include three prizes valued at more than $58,000. Only 6,000 tickets will be sold, at $100 per ticket. Wyatt Perdue is living with cystic fibrosis. Lily Swan, a junior at Mercy Academy in Louisville, has been named the Grand Prize winner of the 36th annual Horsing Around With Art competition, presented by WinStar Farm. The Kentucky Derby Museum has teamed with Nathan Perdue to benefit the CF Foundation by raffling off a package that includes rare bourbon. Perdue, a resident of Indiana and a bourbon collector, has a 2-year-old son, Wyatt, who is living with cystic fibrosis (CF). Kentucky artist Kacy Jackson has donated original artwork entitled "Legacy," which features early Kentucky Derby jockeys, to the Kentucky Derby Museum. Best KY Derby Stories Contest Winners Announced

The Kentucky Derby Museum received 75 entries for its "Best Kentucky Derby Stories" contest and winners were announced Tuesday. Grand prize went to Michael Huang, first prize to Greta Hittle, second prize to Tom Pinkowski and third to Beth Bishop. Huang received a Churchill Downs box for the spring meet, a VIP golf cart tour of Churchill for four, four Derby glasses and a Derby Museum membership. The Black Heritage in Racing exhibit at Kentucky Derby Museum opens to the public Monday, Mar. 29.
