Keeneland Accepting Entries for New October Digital Sale

Keeneland will start accepting entries of horses of racing age for its first October Digital Sale on Friday, Sept. 11, it announced Wednesday. The October Sale will be held Thursday, Oct. 1 via the new Keeneland Digital Sales Ring platform. The entry deadline for the October Sale is Monday, Sept. 21. Keeneland Auctioneer Cris Caldwell Passes Away at 63

Cris Caldwell, who continued the legacy of his late father Tom Caldwell as an integral part of the Keeneland auctioneering team, passed away Friday, May 15. He was 63 years old and was a member of the Keeneland family from 1975-2020. Tom Caldwell passed away in 2001 and like his father, Cris Caldwell succumbed to pancreatic cancer, according to an obituary sent by his family.
