Keeneland October Digital Sale

Flaine (Outwork), a half-sister to recent GI Claiborne Breeders' Futurity winner Rattle N Roll (Connect), sold for $37,500 to St. Elias Stable, topping Tuesday's Keeneland October Digital Sale. The 3-year-old filly was consigned as a broodmare prospect by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. Of the 24 horses catalogued, 23 went through the ring with six selling for a gross of $112,000.

Three-year-old filly Perfect Happiness (Majesticperfection--Divine Happiness, by Divine Park), a blowout allowance winner with an 86 Beyer Speed Figure at Ellis Aug. 2, brought $200,000 from Flurry Racing Stables as a racing or broodmare Prospect at Keeneland's October Digital Sale Thursday. The Brereton C. Jones homebred, a runaway maiden winner at Oaklawn in January, finished second for trainer Larry Jones in her two most recent trips to the post in optional claimers at Churchill Downs. Keeneland will start accepting entries of horses of racing age for its first October Digital Sale on Friday, Sept. 11, it announced Wednesday. The October Sale will be held Thursday, Oct. 1 via the new Keeneland Digital Sales Ring platform. The entry deadline for the October Sale is Monday, Sept. 21.
