Prominent regional owner/breeders Patricia and the late Frank Generazio and the recently deceased Ellen Bongard will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in the New York-bred program, officials at the New York Thoroughbred Breeders (NYTB) announced Monday. Jeffrey Cannizzo, Executive Director of New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc. (NYTB), will be leaving the organization Jan. 1 to pursue a newly created opportunity with the New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) as Senior Director of Government Affairs.
