Every week, the TDN posts a roundup of the relevant Horseracing Integrity and Safety Act (HISA)-related rulings from around the country. Among this week's rulings, several provisional suspensions have been handed out in cases pending a formal hearing. This includes trainers Frederico Villafranco and Diana Morici, who have been issued provisional suspensions for separate alleged methamphetamine positives. Trainer Francisco Ramos remains provisionally suspended with two additional alleged clenbuterol positives to go with four prior pending clenbuterol cases. Wow Whata Summer sprung the second biggest upset of the year so far when he crossed the finish line in front for the first time, besting previously undefeated 'TDN Rising Star' Annapolis at odds of 83-1 in the GII Penn Mile S. Claimer Turned Grade I Winner Glorious Empire Retired

Matthew Schera's Glorious Empire (Ire) (Holy Roman Emperor {Ire}--Humble And Proud {Ire}, by Pivotal {GB}), who won the 2018 GI Sword Dancer S. a handful of races removed from a victory in a Saratoga $50,000 claimer, has been retired from racing, according to trainer James F.
